About
I make documentary and branded films grounded in place — the American West, its histories, the people who sense the official story is missing something.
At eighteen, I chose to go. I traded the familiar for the Ecuadorian Amazon—steeped in guayusa and the dense insight of the forest. I arrived with nothing but myself and fragments of fluency. I learned that to witness a story, you must first learn the language of the place.
Montana was always the pull—a landscape no less mythical, and just as easily misunderstood. That departure wasn't a phase; it was the beginning of the practice. I don't just film a location. I learn its language, stay quiet until the place stops performing, and film what was already there.
